| HOW DID AMAZIAH'S SON DIE? |
| Amos 7:17. Therefore thus saith the Lord (to Amaziah); Thy wife shall
be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by
the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die
in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his
land.
II Chronicles 26:1 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. II Chronicles 26:21. And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

| Note: The assumption of contradiction is that, if the Lord told Amaziah
that his son would die by the sword, why did he die of leprosy?
The Amaziah being spoken to in Amos was a priest. The one in Chronicles was a king. These are clearly two different people who just share the same name. Not a contradiction. |
