SHOULD WIDOWS REMARRY?
I Corinthians 7:8  I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. (KJV)

I Timothy 5:13-14 (speaking of widows)  And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.  I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. (KJV)

In the 1 Corinthians passage, as I've pointed out in the question whether or not marriage is approved, Paul is not saying that unmarried and widows should stay unmarried, just that it is okay for them to do so.  In the 1 Timothy passage, Paul is saying that it's better for them to remarry than to become idle in their faith. Not a contradiction.
