DO WE BEAR OTHER'S BURDENS, OR ONLY OUR OWN?
Galatians 6:2  Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (KJV)

Galatians 6:5  For every man shall bear his own burden. (KJV)

The words translated as 'burden' are different in the two passages.  6:2 refers to "baros" (Strong's #922), which refers to weights that are difficult to carry.  6:5 refers to "phortion" (Strong's #5413) which refers to tasks or services, the day-to-day burdens that are not difficult to carry. Not a contradiction.
