WAS GOD SATISFIED WITH HIS WORKS?

Genesis 1:31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (KJV) Genesis 6:6  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (KJV)

When God created it, it was satisfied with it.  But when men rebelled, God grieved.  To draw a comparison, a man might be satisfied with his marriage. But if his wife has an affair, then he would be unsatisfied with his marriage. Would this be a contradiction on his part? Obviously not.  Not a contradiction.
