SHOULD MEN BE CIRCUMCISED?

Genesis 17:10  This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. (KJV) Galatians 5:2  Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. (KJV)

God ordered the Israelites to be circumcised as a sign that they would be the ones from whom the Messiah would arise.  Once the Messiah came, circumcision was no longer necessary.  Not that circumcision was a bad thing, but there was nothing to gain from it.  Not a contradiction.
