WHO WERE THE FATHERS OF THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL?
While the passages are too long to include here, Genesis 49 lists them as being Reuben (49:3), Simeon (49:5), Levi (49:5), Judah (49:8), Zebulun (49:13), Issachar (49:14), Dan (49:16), Asher (49:20), Naphtali (49:21), Joseph (49:22), and Benjamin (49:27).

Revelations 7:5-8 has a similar list, but replaces Dan with Manasses.

Dan was cut off from the twelve tribes of Israel, and replaced with the tribe of Manasses.  The fathers of the twelve tribes were all sons of Jacob.  Manasses, however, was a son of Joseph who was adopted by Jacob, and was therefore an obvious choice as the replacement for Dan.  Not a contradiction.
