| WILL THE GODLY PROSPER IN THIS WORLD, OR NOT? |
| Psalms 1:3 And he (a Godly man) shall be like a tree planted by
the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf
also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (KJV)
Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. (KJV)
Hebrews 11:37-38 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. (KJV) II Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (KJV) Luke 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. (KJV)

| Putting it simply, the actions of a Godly person will cause prosperity in the long run, but many of the things that happen to them in this world will be bad. They will suffer much persecution and torment while walking with God, but eventually things will work out for the best. No contradictions here. |
