| WAS JESUS THE FIRST TO BE RESURRECTED? |
| Acts 26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the
first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the
people, and to the Gentiles. (KJV)
I Kings 17:21-22 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. (KJV) II Kings 13:21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. (KJV) John 11:43-44 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. (KJV) Luke 8:54-55 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. (KJV)

| In the context in which Paul intended (in the Acts passage), he was telling the truth. He was speaking of the fact that Jesus cleared the way for others to eventually be fully resurrected, that is the first to rise again and never die (the others who were resurrected before Him went on to die). Not a contradiction. |
