Contradictions Main Page

IS IT WRONG TO LEND MONEY WITH, OR WITHOUT, INTEREST?
Leviticus 25:37  Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase. (KJV)

Matthew 25:27  Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. (KJV)

Leviticus is talking about actual money, but in the Matthew passage, Jesus is making a metaphor about faith, telling us to allow it to multiply on Earth.  Not a contradiction.
