| The John passage (basically John 1:26-51) is too long to include here,
but some have claimed it says that, after Jesus was baptized, He spent three
days or more traveling with John and the disciples. However, they are
not reading the passage carefully. What is going on here is that John
is describing to a crowd about the day he baptized Jesus, and then Jesus
approaches, and they travel together. All of the events in John 1:26-51
happened some time (at least 40 days) after the baptism of Jesus, and is
not a contradiction. |
