| DID JESUS DEPART INTO GALILEE? |
| Matthew 4:12-13 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison,
he departed into Galilee; And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in
Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and
Nephthalim:

| Note: The assumption of contradiction is that both Nazareth and Capernaum
were within Galilee, so how could Jesus 'depart into Galilee' on such a
journey?
However, Jesus was in the wilderness, not Nazareth, prior to this incident. So what happened was Jesus went from the wilderness (presumably outside Galilee) into Galilee, stopped in Nazareth, and then carried on to Capernaum. Not a contradiction. |
