WHAT HAPPENS TO GRASS IN THE LAST DAYS?

Revelation 8:7  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. (KJV) Revelation 9:4  And it was commanded them (locusts) that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (KJV)

Note: The assumption of contradiction here is that, if all of the grass is burnt up in 8:7, why would the locusts be ordered not to hurt the grass in 9:4? However, we have seen that grass can regrow where it has been completely burned by fire.  Even when grass is burned up, seeds can remain and grow grass again.  Not a contradiction.
