IS ANYONE RIGHTEOUS?

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (KJV) Romans 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (KJV)

'Righteous' is a relative term, like 'tall' or 'nice'.  People may be righteous in relation to each other, but in relation to God (which Paul is referring to in Romans), no one is righteous. Not a contradiction.
