HOW MANY OF ZOBAH'S HORSEMEN DID DAVID CAPTURE?

Scholars agree that this is a simple transcribing error. As can clearly be seen, these are the exact same passages with the exception on the 700 vs. 7000. In transcribing, the Hebrew number system makes mistakes of factor 10 very easy to make. Since this does not reflect what was in the original text, this is not a contradiction.
