| Aren’t there some striking parallels between the Jesus and Apollo stories? |
| Like what? Apollo was a Greek god who was the son of Zeus and Lito
and the twin brother of Artemis. He
was the god of music and an archer. He was associated with the swan,
wolf, and dolphin. He had many romantic relationships with goddesses
as well as mortal women (and even a prince named
Hyacinthus!). There was no virgin
birth or resurrection, or anything which strongly parallels to Jesus.
