Aren’t there some striking parallels between the Jesus and Artemes stories?
Artemes (aka Artemis) was the twin sister of Apollo.  She was the goddess of wilderness, the hunt, wild animals and fertility.  She carried a bow and arrow, and hunted (then later protected) wild game.  She was a lifelong virgin, and frequently killed men who tried to have sex with her (as well as people who tried to kill animals she protected).  She wasn't born of a virgin (her mother, Leto, was either Zeus' wife or concubine, depending on the story), apostles, or death/resurrection, or anything which compares to Jesus.
