Aren’t there some striking parallels between the Jesus and Crite stories?
Critics claim that Crite was a Chaldean god who was crucified.  They say he was known as "the redeemer", "the ever-blessed Son of God", "The savior of the race", "the atoning offering for an angry God", and claim that when he was offered up, both heaven and earth were shaken to the foundation.  And of course there's the similarities between the names "Crite" and "Christ".

Lots of similarities, huh?  The only problem is that this godman doesn't exist in any Chaldean mythology.  Nor does he appear in the mythology of any civilization.  This one appears to be a complete fabrication on the part of the critics just so that they would have one more 'god' to claim the Jesus story is based on.
