| Arent there some striking parallels between the Jesus and Dahzdbog stories? |
| Dahzdbog (aka Dabog or Dazbog) is one of those godmen that skeptics just
claim influenced Christianity, without really going into detail on how.
This Russian godman (whose name means "the giving god" in Slavic) is,
according to myth, the forebearer of the Russian people. He has
no virgin birth, resurrection, or anything remotely similar to the Jesus
story, other than his being the son of a god (Perun), though his mother was
a mermaid. In fact, he's been equated with satan. Maybe that's
why skeptics never go into detail on this one.
