| This is an interesting one. Though Samheim (aka Samhain) is widely believed to be the Celtic god of the dead, the Celtics themselves say he isn't! The earliest references to 'Samheim, the Celtic god of the dead' sprang up in the 18th century, over 1700 years after Jesus' time, and from non-Celtic sources. Samheim was a Celtic festival, not a person. So obviously there are no parallels between Jesus and Samheim. |
