| Critics claim Sandan was a Greek vegetation god in the city of Tarsus, whose death and resurrection were celebrated each year. My research shows that he was an early version of Heracles (from whom the Hercules myth arose). He apparently rode on a lion with wings and a horn. I'm not seeing any comparisons to Jesus. |
