| No. Taut (a.k.a. Taautus, Thouth, Thoth) was a Phoenican deity, believed to have one ruled Egypt, and who was credited with inventing writing and astronomy. The Roman story of Mercury may have been based on him. I'm not finding too much on this one, but what I'm finding shows no parallels to Jesus. |
