Aren’t there some striking parallels between the Jesus and Thor stories?
Like what?  He's the god of thunder and is married to the fertility goddess Sif with whom he had two sons (Magni and Modi) and a daughter (Thrud).  Thor had a red beard and eyes of lightning.  He rode in a chariot pulled by goats and wears a belt called Megingjard which doubles his strength.  He was killed by being bitten by a snake.  Thursday is named after him.  Nope, not much in the way of comparisons to Jesus.

Besides, the earliest references to Thor is in the Nordendorf fibula, which dates to the 7th century A.D.
