Frequently Asked Questions

If we're all descended from 2 people, as the Bible suggests, then where did the various races come from?
There is actually only one race of people, the human race. But the fact is that science itself has shown that all of the different 'racial' characteristics on Earth, coming from a single group of very similar people, is not only possible, but very likely. When a large group of individuals is suddenly broken into a bunch of smaller groups (as described by the Bible in Genesis 11), and from then the only interbreeding is amongst themselves, racial characteristics unique to each group will arise very rapidly. This has been observed in animal populations, as well. In fact, this is the basic logic behind the theory of Evolution. According to the theory, if a large group of animals branches into 2 or more smaller groups, each group will evolve into completely different species over time. It's almost funny that some Evolutionists have no problem accepting that elephants and butterflies are descended from a common ancestor, but can't accept that a black man and a white man descended from a common ancestor.
