| They would only be a violation of natural laws if natural laws were the
most powerful force in the universe. If there is no God, then, yes, Jesus'
walking on water and rising from the dead could never have happened. But
this argument is circular in logic, since it only makes sense if we start
with the assumption that God does not exist (which is generally the conclusion
those making this argument hope to prove).
IF God exists, and IF God created the universe (as the Bible states), then God is supreme over all natural laws. He could override them in order to make His Son walk on water, raise the dead, give sight to the blind, etc. |
