Adam, The Bible doesn't say anything about life on other planets. Some would take that as evidence that there is no life on other planets, since they assume the Bible would say something if there was. But I disagree. I don't see why the Bible would talk about what was happening on other planets if it wasn't a concern to mankind. The authors wrote about what they knew and what was revealed to them by God, and God tends only to reveal what we need to know. If God told them that there was life on a planet many light-years away, what would the authors have done with that knowledge? Why would they have needed to know it? What use would it have been to mankind? If there is life out there, I think it will be revealed to us when the time comes. Peace, David |
