This website is mostly aimed at providing arguments and evidence for the non-Christian, the Christian who may be struggling with what he or she believes, or those Christians who are interested in reaching out to others.
My opinions may contradict what other Christians believe, but many of my arguments are also based on arguments given by a variety of Christian sources. I especially owe a debt of gratitude to the writings of Glenn Miller, J.P. Holding, Paul Maier, Grant R. Jeffrey, Lee Strobel, and Gerald Schroeder.

Jesus & Apollonius Parallels - A Christian Response
There are a few parallels between Jesus and Apollonius. For example, Apollonius is supposed to have cast out demons, raised the dead, been put on trial, and dispensed wisdom. However, the earliest stories of Apollonius were written no earlier than 180 A.D. The author of the most well-known 'biography' of Apollonius, Philostratus, was born in 172 A.D. and wrote his text in the 3rd century AD. Of course, the critics always omit this fact when spouting their list of comparisons.
